Breast augmentation
Breast augmentation (mammoplasty) is performed to significantly enhance the overall appearance, size, and contour of the breasts. Patients consider the procedure for various reasons. Some patients feel their breasts are too small while other undergo augmentation after changes after a pregnancy. Asymmetry in breast size can also be corrected by plastic surgical procedures.

When the incision is made in the armpit area an endoscope can be used.
Breast implants are usually made of silicone shell that is filled either with a salt water solution (saline) or silicone gel. Size is determined by fitting implants for trial.

Breast reduction
Breast reduction surgery is usually performed in patients with large and heavy breasts. These patients sometimes experience serious discomfort incl. neck pain and neck issues, back pain and lower-back related problems, significant numbness and/or weakness.
During the procedure excess skin, fat and tissue are removed to reduce the breast size. Among the side effects there is slight change in the sensation of the breast as well as complications or inability to breastfeed. Always consult your dedicated medical professional about your possible options.
Breast reconstruction procedures
Breast reconstruction surgery is performed in patients undergoing mastectomy and is considered as a treatment for breast cancer.
Mastopexy (breast lift)
Breast lift procedures are performed to help re-position the breasts in a higher position to improve shape, look and tightening of the skin. Breast lift procedures are successfully combined with breast augmentation and reduction surgery with good results.
